About ACCACC

The Afro-Caribbean Culture and Arts Community Center (ACCACC) is dedicated to fostering cultural enrichment, artistic expression, and community empowerment for seniors, newcomers, people with disabilities and LGBTQ community. Our mission is to serve as a vibrant hub for the celebration and preservation of Afro-Caribbean heritage in Canada, uniting communities through the arts, education, and cultural exchange. We are a federal incorporation working to advance the full inclusion of Afro Caribbean descents by focusing on equity, promoting diversity, and inclusion.

Our Pillars

The core pillars of ACCACC’S mandate are:
1 To work closely with Industry partners, Afro-Caribbean individuals and bodies to leverage on collaborative efforts to strengthen cultural ties and bonds inversely impacting the social system.
2.To use creativity, culture and talent discovery, as a tool of unity,education, empowerment for Afro-Caribbean’s community in Canada.
3.Creating a common front and access to resources needed, related government campaigns and platforms useful to the Afro-Caribbean Canadian community.
4.Organizing programs and events thematically focusing on drawingstrength as a community, showcasing talents, cultural display, empowering and assisting in talent and cultural integration of the Afro-Caribbean Canadian community.
5.Standardization of affiliations, accreditation process education and integration process to benefit Afro-Caribbean Canadians in different genres of entertainment by strong recommendations, endorsements and support.

Services

We provide the following services

Free Hands-on Training Programs

ACCACC offers free Hands-on training courses in the arts, film and television industry to community members. Every cohort has had great experience spiraling into business.

Youth Cultural Exchange program

We hold youth Cultural Exchange programs which enable creative youths network and showcase their talent and skillset with lectures, workshops and interactions

Monthly Inclusion Manifest

Our Monthly inclusion Program is our impartation session featuring excelling Afro Caribbeans who share their success stories with new comers.

Anti-Racism & Hate Community Programs

The campaign for orientation, awareness and education about anti-racism comes handy with experienced speakers in this continuous webinar

Free Tax Clinics

Free Income Tax clinic for the Afro Caribbeans by professional volunteers.




Settlement Programs

We offer in partnership with sister organizations settling referrals and programs that help low income families and newcomers

Seniors Arts2Live Program

A great initiative that helps our seniors enjoy good health relishing and using arts a tool of mind rejuvenation

International Arts, Entertainment and Culture Conference

The conference provides a platform for global cultural exchange, artistic expression, and educational enrichment, with a focus on empowering and uplifting individuals of Afro-Caribbean descent through rich educational content and inspiring cultural experiences.

Culture and Health Orientation Sessions

Free general health orientation placed side by side with cultural believe for the purpose of education and shared tips for mental health awareness.
